Polo Neck crop top, Door-knocker Earrings + some bargains

Bitch be wearing them shoes AGAIN
 Excuse my messy room :)

Polo crop top : Charity shop
Disco Pants : American Apparel
Denim coat : Bootsale
Boots : Jeffrey Campbell
Earrings : Topshop
Sunglasses : Primark

Oh hey guys :) I'm in such a good mood jammin' to Prince over here. It feels like forever since I last blogged. I've been busy doing mostly nothing but enjoying the sunshine, my boyfriend, BBQ's and moving into my new house with my girls. Not so happy about going into my third year of uni, but hey if I can pass it may as well finish. Anyone else back at uni?

My new room has a HUUUGE mirrored wardrobe, I don't think even I could fill it. What better way to utilise the new wardrobe than for an outfit photo? I've discovered new comfort zone in  my beanie hat, it covers up shitty looking hair and makes any outfit a bit better somehow. I went for the fail-safe Disco Pants today, they look good with EVERYTHING! I found the polo top I'm wearing today in a charity shop for £1.99. Add some huge gold doorknockers and Jeffrey Campbells and I'm ready for the day.

Been doing some shopping too :

Cossie : Rokit Vintage - £5

 Cheesy Tie-dye T shirt - Oxfam £1.99

The fresh Prince shorts : Bricklane Market £1

Don't know about you but my student loan is late D: WHY?? I NEED THIS STUFF -

1. Rainbow Nike Air Max 90  - The 90's called and want their favourite shoes back. NO THEY BELONG TO ME!

2.Studded cross Bodysuit HERE - I love this so much, not sure if it'll cover my boobies though...

3. Chain Quilted PU jacket HERE - I saw a girl wearing this on Bricklane this weekend , needless to say she looked sick, now I want it.

4.Spike hair cuff HERE - Badass.

5. Jeffrey Campbell Wolf platforms HERE - So high , but so good! These are perfect for winter.

6. Fluffy kimono HERE - Been eyeing this up at work and now it's mine :)

Have a lovely week :) I've got some very exciting news to share with you very soon so I'll be posting...SOON

Just a Quickie OOTD : New JC Tardy + Ebay

Crop Top : Topshop
Jeans : Vintage Versace via charity shop
Belt : Moschino via charity shop
Boots : Jeffrey Campbell Tardy via Office
Lippy : Sleek Vamp

Hey there guys :) This is gonna be a quick one seeing as I am absolutely GAGGING to start a new series of Breaking Bad, apologies to anyone who follows my Instagram who has already seen this outfit. lets face it most of you probably don't which can only be a good thing.. I get strange when I'm drunk HA!

Aaaanyway, this is quite a casual outfit I wore out the other day for daytime drinking in Spoons. Not the most imaginative but consider I was probably about 6' 5" in those heels I must have looked pretty interesting to the drunks sat in the courtyard of Spoons the other day. I have rediscovered my Moschino belt and wear it quite a lot now. I still can't get over the fact it only cost a pound!! Here's a photo of my new babies close up...

Not my disgusting house , my boyfriends :)

Now I have wanted these for over a year now, ever since I saw Jessica of VintageVirgin rocking a DIY studded  pair. When I saw them for half price at Office shoes, the countdown to Payday began. I actually cried at my boyfriend when they sold out in my size online (I think I may have been PMSing). Dude. REALLY. Then, the very day I got paid I went downstairs to Office at work and they had them!! Already I have fallen on my arse down stairs on the tube but fuck it I'M NEVER TAKING THESE OFF!

In other shoe news I held the majestic UNIF Hellbound in Leopard print today, I think I will be buying these on loan day muhahahhhaa!

I wanted to make one of those pictures of stuff I want then tell you where it's from but I actually don't want anything froma any actual shops at the moment, ebay is my go to as well as charity shops. Not really jazzed by things I'm seeing in shops at the moment. Sooooo.... I thought I'd share a few things I just bought off ebay  with you instead , looks  a bit crap but I can't wait for everything to get here :

-Tartan skirt, an absolute must have for my winter wardrobe . I have been fantasising about one for a while and this one is perfect!

-Gonna DIY stiletto nails (claw like Rihanna nails) this week, my nails are UGLY

-Levi 550's - I'm not that in to 501's - don't like button crotches and the rise is a little too low for me, but the 550 has a zip thank god and a good rise, I LOVE the look of these rolled up, great for winter when my tiny shorts will be reserved for drunken escapades.

-Glittery socks are awesome! Not gonna pay £8 at UO for those, so got them in all the colours off ebay for about £1.50 each.

- Spikey bracelet to go round my ponytail/bun

- Denim hat is AWESOME !

Niiiiiiight!

Playsuit : Primark
Belt : Moschino via charity shop
Backpack : Primark
Sunny G's : Primark
Trainers : Nike
Earrings : Topshop and Paks
Bindi : ebay

What is it with the heat in London at the moment? It feels like Barbados! I thought I'd dress appropriately in as little as possible. I borrowed this cute tropical print playsuit off my sister, I love it, reminds me of those vintage Hawaiian shirts in playsuit form. I HATE my upper arms as well so I threw on this oversize denim shirt I cut the sleeves off over the top and HEY PRESTO flabby arms are gone :) !

Jacket : Vintage Nike via Ebay
Top : DIY from tights
Disco Pants |: American Apparel
Heels : H&M
Necklace : Peacocks

I went out the other night, my lovely boyfriend took some pictures of me after I got ready, taken with a phone camera sorryyy! I'm seriously clutching at straws at the moment, making a top out of tights a la goth. Skint as hell. And I'm SO glad I got another chance to wear my H&M neon heels, those bad boys were so worth the £24.99!! So all in all I was actually going for the 90's - hoochie mama - could be a member of some forgotten R&B girl group look, success? I think so :)

Now I've joined the 21'st century in the phone department I now have Instagram , my username is Frankiegd , let me know your username and I'll follow yours?

Been a pretty productive week in terms of finding stuff I'm dying to buy and can't afford as well... may as well share a bit of the torture with you guys :D

  1. Studded clutch : £8  SelectHERE - SO CHEAP and so similar to the Topshop and Zara ones, for a fraction of the price GIMME!!
  2. Gold toe cap heels : £16 Matalan HERE - Only £16 need I say more?
  3. Samsung Galaxy case : £4.29 Ebay HERE - Just bought this cutie for my new phone, love the bright colours.
  4. Backpack : £30 River Island HERE - You may have noticed I'm loving backpacks at the moment!
  5. Leather sleeve jacket : £60 LavishAlice HERE - I missed the boat on the Zara version but I would happily settle for this one, I want a denim one with leather sleeves too.
  6. Galaxy Swimsuit : £35 Topshop HERE - I hate to say it but so much cheaper than BlackMilk, it has to be done, sorry sharkies :/
  7. Unif Hellbounds : £175 Urban Outfitters HERE - Still need these in my life, pretty steep but I want to be taller than everybody else SO BAD.
  8. Midi Dress : £32 Topshop HERE - I love a good Midi, animal print is still high on my list of fucking awesomeness and this would look great with my camo jacket.
  9. Fire opal Ring : £8 Dixi HERE - I LOVE opals and this ring is beautiful, when I get paid...

nearly Christmas I guess...

I would like to take a moment to say ...

THANK YOU LOVELIES !!!! OVER 100 FOLLOWERS!!

I got back from Boomtown and looked at my blog and really. No wait REALLY , SO MANY PEOPLE READ IT NOW WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT????
I really appreciate that people enjoy my blog because I'm obsessed with reading/looking at and being inspired by other's ! Thanks to Charmaine from over at www.charmainescloset.blogspot.co.uk for introducing loads of new readers , hey guys :)  I actually thought about doing a 100 followers giveaway (looks like that's what everyone else does) but in case you haven't noticed from the title, I am skint so I will just have to give away my love to you all :) MWAH

Boomtown blew my mind yet again, I met the best people, I keep finding phone numbers written on rizlas in everything I own. My lovely boyfriend managed to lost my Purple Galaxy BlackMilk leggings though ( I would cut off his head if he hadn't promised to buy me more. No seriously).

Funnily enough , my dad said I looked like Caren Wheeler from Soul 2 Soul today, hence blog title, must be getting this 90's thing right, LOVES IT ME! After the madness and shenanigans of Boomtown I've toned it down a bit, still can't quite be parted from my Bindis though, I think they are here to stay FOREVER.

I'm going to cut it off there, I just got a new phone (Samsung Galaxy S2 for anyone who's interested) and I am desperate to start playing around with it, already had it for about 5 hours and don't know how it works haha!

I can't wait to show you all my Boomtown photo's when they get developed watch this space :)

Braids, prints and shoe porn

box braids
So I braided my hair myself YUP!

flatforms
 Shirt : charity shop
Skirt : Topshop
Bowler : Ebay
Necklace : Peacocks
Flatforms : Office

After spending about 10 hours over the last two days braiding my own hair I thought I'd share it and an outfit post with you guys. I missed my braids from before but I couldn't afford to get them professionally done so I bit the bullet, watched a few youtube videos and did it myself. The back is less than amazing, but hey I saved myself £60!!!
Even though I have only left the house for about two hours today I got all dressed up (been living in my Basketball Jersey for days ugghhh). I have only worn this shirt once since I bought it and I'm so glad I wore it today, I love the matching print tops and bottoms I've seen on the high street lately in Topshop and River-Island and thought I'd do my own thing but similar with monochrome prints. I LOVE the crazy ikat midi I got from Topshop, I don't wear skirts (always shorts) much during the day because I HATE HATE HATE leering and comments from weirdo men, but this is great I don't feel too exposed! The flatforms were only £8.50 from Office in the sale and I've been eyeing them up for MONTHS! So happy!

Anyway I'm back to being poor as me and my girls have just put a deposit down on a new flat YAY , so back to fantasising about nice things,  I'll share my shoe porn with you ;)

Acid wash, gold chain, DIY Ombre hair and this weeks lustlist

Polo neck crop top : Maxmara via charity shop , Acid wash Jeans : My sisters via ebay ,
Wedge Trainers : H&M , Necklace : Peacocks

Hey dudes! I'm back with a tan! Croatia was amazing, we caught the end of the Garden festival along with Electric Elephant, had fun with my most amazing Bristol girls, beauties from Dublin, saw some ace DJs and partied for 6 days straight. This photo sums up the week really HA!:

I am still poor as a church mouse so haven't been able to get my braids again BOO!! But I really wanted to change my hairstyle so I went ombre. I prefer this ombre look so much more to my pre blog pink dip dye, really subtle and didn't make it all break off!

Also, I decided to take my eyelashes into my own hands and apply my own long lasting eyelash extensions (last photo) . I used to pay around a tenner to get them done in Peckham but I managed to do them myself with just £3.00 worth of lashes from a beauty shop and some weave glue! Now I know that sounds horrific but they are SO GOOD!! And they don't pull out my lashes when I remove them like the professionally applied ones, I might even do a Youtube video tutorial, so easy to apply and they last for like 2 weeks!

Anywhooooo payday is coming up and we both know I've already mentally spent that money :

  1. White silk polo neck dress : Topshop Unique AW12
  2. Last judgement leggings : BlackMilk
  3. Gorilla tank top : Romwe
  4. High waisted Easy Jeans : American apparel
  5. Cheetah T shirt as seen on Rihanna !!! : Katie Eary
  6. Bra top : Monki
  7. Eye jumper : Monki
  8. Flatform trainers : River-Island

Six days and counting :)

Radio 1 Hackney Weekend , tie dye maxi skirt and £1 Moschino belt

Did anybody go to the Hackney weekend yesterday??  IT WAS AMAZING!! I can't believe I saw JAY Z AND KANYE FOR FREEE WOOOOOOOOO! Jay was sick, he did my favourite H to the Izzo and loads of other classics!! Kanye though, since he's started banging Kim Kardashian I can't really help but think less of him SMH. Definitely won't be getting over the fact that I was about 20m away from Beyonce for a long time.

I had a great day drinking and dancing my butt off with my lovely boyfriend. We saw Deadmou5, who wasn't as good as when I've seen him before, Emili Sande was beautiful and has such good vocals oh my days! Saw Rita Ora by accident too with DJ fresh, she was pretty good. Rihanna was fricking hot, Fell in love with her cap, can't find who the designer is so if anybody could enlighten me I would be most greatful :)
also bumped into Philips Idowu (World champion triple jumper) who was lovely and wished him all the best for the Olympics awww (getting out of London before they start fo sho).

Anyway.... I haven't got an outfit picture of yesterday.. but a few people took a picture of it for other blogs (exciting huh) So hopefully it'll show up somewhere else :)
I did manage to get my boyfriend to take some pictures of me the other day... he kept moaning it was embarrassing, still managed to do a good job though :) Here's what I wore the other day :

Sunny G's : Primark , Bralet : Topshop sale , Skirt : Charity shop , Belt : ASOS , Trainers : Converse

I had to take my braids out D: I miss them so much, but I can't afford to get more at the moment. I really want to do something different with my hair though, it's naturally really curly so I'm thinking maybe bleaching the crap out of it and having a pink fro?

Me and my friend Suzi went charity shopping in Dalston it was a great day for vintage I got this shirt : £2

A really cool leather bumbag (sorry no picture) , I'm selling my Moschino one HERE  if you want to get your hand on that bad boy :)

My best find was this Moschino belt,  I picked it up and asked the shopkeeper how much it was and I thought he said £12 and I was like YEAH BARGAIN, turned out he was joking and it was £1 BLOODY BRILLIANT!

All in all It's been a great weekend :D Now if only England would beat Italy in the football!! And I'm starting at Miss Selfridge tomorrow wish me luck :)

P.S How do people always get away with talking in yoga classes in films/television???
