American Apparel Factory Outlet Brick Lane Picks + River Island Riding Pants dupe

There are a few advantages of being back in the East End for uni, one of them being the American Apparel Factory Outlet being just down the road on Brick Lane. EVERYTHING IS SO MUCH CHEAPER!  We are talking £34 for disco pants, £30 for florescent chiffon shirts I KNOW!!!! £11 for crop tops etc.. And the best thing is it goes on until the 14th of October, so if your in London definitely get down there.

Here's just a few of my picks on sale at the outlet :

- All available at the American Apparel outlet sale-

Anyway, today I headed down and bought some riding pants in Steel Grey for £34 BARGAIN. It's weird but I wasn't going to get any till I saw these from River Island :

American Apparel riding pants dupe - £35 River-Island

I went to River Island after work an tried them on, they were really nice and very similar material and looked great on. Fully would have bought them if they came in other colours and if they weren't £1 more expensive than the actual American Apparel ones I got today...

Moral of the story is - for the love of god, go down to the AA Outlet if your are around London before October 14th

Polo Neck crop top, Door-knocker Earrings + some bargains

Bitch be wearing them shoes AGAIN
 Excuse my messy room :)

Polo crop top : Charity shop
Disco Pants : American Apparel
Denim coat : Bootsale
Boots : Jeffrey Campbell
Earrings : Topshop
Sunglasses : Primark

Oh hey guys :) I'm in such a good mood jammin' to Prince over here. It feels like forever since I last blogged. I've been busy doing mostly nothing but enjoying the sunshine, my boyfriend, BBQ's and moving into my new house with my girls. Not so happy about going into my third year of uni, but hey if I can pass it may as well finish. Anyone else back at uni?

My new room has a HUUUGE mirrored wardrobe, I don't think even I could fill it. What better way to utilise the new wardrobe than for an outfit photo? I've discovered new comfort zone in  my beanie hat, it covers up shitty looking hair and makes any outfit a bit better somehow. I went for the fail-safe Disco Pants today, they look good with EVERYTHING! I found the polo top I'm wearing today in a charity shop for £1.99. Add some huge gold doorknockers and Jeffrey Campbells and I'm ready for the day.

Been doing some shopping too :

Cossie : Rokit Vintage - £5

 Cheesy Tie-dye T shirt - Oxfam £1.99

The fresh Prince shorts : Bricklane Market £1

Don't know about you but my student loan is late D: WHY?? I NEED THIS STUFF -

1. Rainbow Nike Air Max 90  - The 90's called and want their favourite shoes back. NO THEY BELONG TO ME!

2.Studded cross Bodysuit HERE - I love this so much, not sure if it'll cover my boobies though...

3. Chain Quilted PU jacket HERE - I saw a girl wearing this on Bricklane this weekend , needless to say she looked sick, now I want it.

4.Spike hair cuff HERE - Badass.

5. Jeffrey Campbell Wolf platforms HERE - So high , but so good! These are perfect for winter.

6. Fluffy kimono HERE - Been eyeing this up at work and now it's mine :)

Have a lovely week :) I've got some very exciting news to share with you very soon so I'll be posting...SOON

Day and Night : Tropical print playsuit - transparent crop top

Denim Shirt : Charity shop
Playsuit : Primark
Belt : Moschino via charity shop
Backpack : Primark
Sunny G's : Primark
Trainers : Nike
Earrings : Topshop and Paks
Bindi : ebay

What is it with the heat in London at the moment? It feels like Barbados! I thought I'd dress appropriately in as little as possible. I borrowed this cute tropical print playsuit off my sister, I love it, reminds me of those vintage Hawaiian shirts in playsuit form. I HATE my upper arms as well so I threw on this oversize denim shirt I cut the sleeves off over the top and HEY PRESTO flabby arms are gone :) !

Jacket : Vintage Nike via Ebay
Top : DIY from tights
Disco Pants |: American Apparel
Heels : H&M
Necklace : Peacocks

I went out the other night, my lovely boyfriend took some pictures of me after I got ready, taken with a phone camera sorryyy! I'm seriously clutching at straws at the moment, making a top out of tights a la goth. Skint as hell. And I'm SO glad I got another chance to wear my H&M neon heels, those bad boys were so worth the £24.99!! So all in all I was actually going for the 90's - hoochie mama - could be a member of some forgotten R&B girl group look, success? I think so :)

Now I've joined the 21'st century in the phone department I now have Instagram , my username is Frankiegd , let me know your username and I'll follow yours?

Been a pretty productive week in terms of finding stuff I'm dying to buy and can't afford as well... may as well share a bit of the torture with you guys :D

  1. Studded clutch : £8  SelectHERE - SO CHEAP and so similar to the Topshop and Zara ones, for a fraction of the price GIMME!!
  2. Gold toe cap heels : £16 Matalan HERE - Only £16 need I say more?
  3. Samsung Galaxy case : £4.29 Ebay HERE - Just bought this cutie for my new phone, love the bright colours.
  4. Backpack : £30 River Island HERE - You may have noticed I'm loving backpacks at the moment!
  5. Leather sleeve jacket : £60 LavishAlice HERE - I missed the boat on the Zara version but I would happily settle for this one, I want a denim one with leather sleeves too.
  6. Galaxy Swimsuit : £35 Topshop HERE - I hate to say it but so much cheaper than BlackMilk, it has to be done, sorry sharkies :/
  7. Unif Hellbounds : £175 Urban Outfitters HERE - Still need these in my life, pretty steep but I want to be taller than everybody else SO BAD.
  8. Midi Dress : £32 Topshop HERE - I love a good Midi, animal print is still high on my list of fucking awesomeness and this would look great with my camo jacket.
  9. Fire opal Ring : £8 Dixi HERE - I LOVE opals and this ring is beautiful, when I get paid...

nearly Christmas I guess...

To Morrisons in Disco Pants , Chilli and 20% off at Boohoo

TODAY IT'S SUNNY IN LONDON WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYY!!!

This is just a quick post in between drinking (when are my posts not between drinking, oh hey typical student) an making the most kick ass Chilli with my boyfriend. You NEED to make epic chilli nachos, you make the chilli con carne, then put a whole packet of Doritos on a baking tray, cover them in cheese, then chilli, put LOADS more cheese on top, bake in the oven then serve with guacamole, sour cream and salsa, AMAZING!

My boyfriend took a few pictures of me messing about on our way back from Morrisons:

T shirt : Oxfam , Shirt : charity shop , Disco Pants : American apparel , Boots : Dr Martens (laces ebay)

 Ha.

Cross Bracelet : Dorothy Perkins , Chain bracelet : Peacocks

I'm not even an Arsenal fan. Sorry City!

This isn't really the best outfit post, but we've all been there, rushing to go somewhere and packed random clothes for the next day, I bought this t shirt about four years ago and I NEVER wear it. I think I turned out all right considering :)

Oh yeah , and I got an email from the lovely people at myunidays announcing a code for 20% off at boohoo.com here's a link to the code  :) I thought I should share the wealth, just because 'm too poor to buy anything at Boohoo doesn't mean you shouldn't

My Boohoo favourites at the moment :-
:) Happy shopping

Gonna get back to my nachos and Strongbow

Easter, Bristol, hangovers and DIY : Safety-pin cross T

The past week has been the best I have had in ages, although it has rendered me completely skint.. no I mean dirt poor. I got to go home to Bristol for the first time since January (seems like eternity), got to attend my first Shapes, was pretty good and
best of all it's a night put on by some of my nearest and dearest friends. Loads of amazing people

Above : Me and Anne Marie drunking it up - Check out her nails SO GOOD!

Despite being of questionable sobriety all night I managed to catch lots of what was going on , I especially enjoyed Pardon my French and of course the Lovely Fuz, threw a lot of SHAPES  Definately check this night out if you are in the West Country soon, the Actual DJ Jazzy Jeff is heading up the next night look here.

jazzy

YES THE ACTUAL JAZZY JEFF

But now I'm back in London and back to work, which may I add is going terribly. Being a shot girl is so hard, I'm not pushy enough for sales, the kind of people who tend  go to the clubs I work in are vile, I really don't like men or the women who are bitchy to me because they think I'm hitting on their scum-bag boyfriends GET A LIFE! The things I do for money hmmmm...
Sorry rant over.

Anyway because of my lack of work I have had to reinvent stuff I already have
like this American Apparel tank DIY with safety pins:

safety pin cross

Pretty self explanatory really, so easy and I LOVE it. Also cracking out the purple lipstick lately has have a great reaction, in the above photo, I'm wearing Revlon - Va Va Violet.

revlon

But anyway today I went to the doctors and decided to dress up seeing as I haven't emerged from my room for 24 hours after Fabric the other night. I don't even know half of what went on, all I
know is Christian , If you are out there HEEEY MAAAN!
I love how the tie dye came out in these shorts, pastels are sick ! I wore the oversized sheer shirt to offset the tightness of the shorts/ attempting some kind of volume like the current trend (I naturally gravitate to tight clothes), I did spend the whole day pulling these out of my bum - however I still looked good n'est-ce pas?

Where Is It From ?

Shirt : H&M
Shorts : Charity Shop £2.50 DIY cut and dyed
Boots : Dr Martens
Cross Necklace: Topshop
Quartz chain necklace : Borrowed from Anne Marie , thanks man :)

As I insist every year, I only received Kinder Easter Eggs thanks to my lovely father.
Why isn't everything made of Kinder?
Hope you had a lovely Easter

Bashmore, Cable, Acton, Library, DONE.

I went to the library and sat there in the silent section on facebook to my friend sitting across from me. How she got 1400 words done I don't know, I read four powerpoint slides.... in my AA Disco
Pants that's all that matters :)
Where's it from? :

Tank top : Topshop
Trousers : American Apparel Disco Pants
Boots : Dr Marten ten hole
Necklace : Topshop (borrowed)
Earrings : Primark (I know you can't see them sorry)

I had the craziest weekend ever , you don't even want to know what happened. Went to see Julio Bashmore, then to Cable and THEN I ended up in Acton with Emily and Rob and a bunch of people we had never met in our lives (legends) till Monday afternoon. I am seriously in need of some kind of mental treatment for my shopping addiction, it gets worse EVERY DAY. Considering some tartan Jeffrey Campbell Litas, but not sure if they have had their day, I LOVE TARTAN THOUGH!

Not sure ignoring my deadlines and reading a million great blogs is the best way to spend my time but there you go :) Here's a few of my favourites:

Gonna finish watching Alien and go to bed
